The summer aviation season 2025 has started again. That means the schedule of flights to Bonaire for summer 2025 has also changed. Compared to last summer, there are a number of new airlines offering flights to and from Bonaire. Want to know everything about which airline is flying to Bonaire when? You can read all the information here.
Connections to the United States
JetBlue flies twice a week from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) to Bonaire now. Flights are operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays. United continues to fly once a week from Newark, near New York City, to Bonaire. United's connection to Houston, Texas, will also remain in place.
American Airlines will fly to Bonaire four times a week from Miami in Florida until September. For this, the airline will use a larger aircraft, a Boeing 737-800. This will increase capacity. Delta will continue to fly from Atlanta to Bonaire once a week on Saturdays.
Flights to the Dominican Republic
Recently, Air Century also began flying from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic to Bonaire. This flight operates once a week on Wednesdays. Bonaire already had a connection to the Dominican Republic. Sky High already provided a flight between our island and Santo Domingo every Tuesday and continues to do so.
Connection with Amsterdam
The addition of Corendon flights has further improved the connection between Bonaire and Amsterdam (Schiphol). Corendon offers flights to the Netherlands twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. In addition, KLM (daily) and TUI (5 times a week) continue to offer flights to and from Amsterdam.
Flights between the islands
In terms of local flights, that is, between the islands, there is also good news. Airline Z-Air is using a larger aircraft for flights to and from Curaçao. This ensures that more seats become available for flights to our neighboring island.
In addition, Divi Divi Air has also expanded its flight schedule. Winair provides a connection between Bonaire and St. Maarten three times a week, via Curaçao. This makes the islands of Statia and Saba, which like Bonaire are part of the BES islands, also easily accessible.
