STINAPA, Bonaire's conservation organization, is organizing Lac Bay Day this Friday. The event will highlight the importance of Lac Bay to Bonaire. Several organizations will be present to show what they are doing to protect and preserve nature on Bonaire. A variety of activities will be organized for visitors.
The activities include nature conservation activities as well as sports activities. Think of bird watching, history tours and a boat trip with rangers from STINAPA. But snorkeling trips and a windsurfing demonstration are also on the program. Various activities are also offered for children. Of course, visitors can enjoy local snacks and drinks.
During Lac Bay Day, attention will be paid to the beautiful nature that Bonaire has to offer. This nature should be protected, but it should also be enjoyed by both local residents and visitors to Bonaire.
The event will take place this Friday, Aug. 30, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the watch tower at Sorobon. The event is free to all.
