This weekend, on Saturday, July 6, it's time for this year's first Bario Festival. This time, the festival will be held in the Nikiboko neighborhood. The theme this time is Vacation Vibes.
This Bario Festival is also bursting with music and dance performances. Of course, there will again be stands selling local food and cold drinks.
In 2022 Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) started organizing Bario Festivals. These will be held in the various neighborhoods on Bonaire. Residents can express their creativity and talents during the festival. The event also generates income for the residents of the neighborhoods.
In addition to residents of Bonaire, tourists are also welcome at the Bario Festival. They can get acquainted with the culture of Bonaire in an accessible and fun way.
The event will take place in Parke Lalan Clarenda in the Nikiboko district. The Bario Festival will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is free.
